Slumbersac sleeping bags are available in sizes from 44 cm to 150 cm, covering Newborns, babies, toddlers and older children up to school age. The right size should be chosen according to your child’s height. You can find the corresponding measurements in our size guide. 

 Sleeping bag sizes vary by age and design 

The suitable size depends on both your child’s height and the type of sleeping bag. For a classic sleeping bag, for example, size 70 cm fits a child around 55–70 cm tall, while size 90 cm fits around 80–90 cm. For a sleeping bag with feet, size 90 cm is designed for children around 90–100 cm tall.

What size sleeping bag for baby?
Slumbersac baby sleeping bags start at 44 cm for premature babies and newborns. Sleeping bags with feet are available from size 50 cm. A sleeping bag with feet is particularly useful once your child starts crawling, standing or walking. The separate leg openings allow them to move more freely while staging comfortably covered. This makes Sleeping Bags a practical choice for active babies.
Are baby sleeping bags safe in the NHS?
The NHS includes Baby Sleeping Bags in its safer sleep guidance and states that a well-fitting Sleeping Bag can help reduce the risk of SIDS by preventing a baby from wriggling underneath their bedding. The Sleeping Bag should fit securely around the shoulders and have a suitable TOG rating for the room temperature.

It’s best to choose according to your child’s height, as children of the same age can vary in size. The age recommendation is only a guide.
What is the difference in sizing between the sleeping bag and the sleeping bag with feet?
The sleeping bag is closed at the bottom and is available in sizes from 44 to 150 cm. The sleeping bag with feet has leg openings and is available in sizes from 50 to 140 cm, with smaller size increments.
Are sleeping bags also available for adults?
Yes. In addition to children’s sizes up to 150 cm, we also offer separate sleeping bags with feet for adults in sizes S–XL.
