First thing to remember...you
are NOT alone!
Sleep is one of the most discussed subjects amongst
new parents, so we have created a current resource
platform where you can find out more about baby and
children’s sleep habits, based on the latest research
and information provided by experts in this field.
A good night’s sleep is important to support the mental, emotional and physical wellbeing of our children. Parenthood comes with a certain level of sleep deprivation in the first few months and this is to be expected, however it can really take its toll on families and can lead to problems such as depression and weight gain placing stress on relationships.
Children who have a good night’s sleep are much more likely to meet their full potential. Well-rested children are more able to concentrate in school and daytime behaviours are often more positive than those of their tired peers. The immune system is also supported by getting adequate sleep, this can mean less illness.
