Slumbersac baby sleeping bags are made from only high-quality materials that are certified according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 to ensure they are free from any harmful substances. This makes them ideal for sensitive skin. We have a range of different fabrics depending on the type of sleeping bag you need. Our fabrics include:
Modal fabric is an incredibly soft, luxurious texture which is ideal for baby sleepwear, including baby sleeping bags or footed sleeping bags.
Modal is a vegetable fibre which is obtained from beechwood. It has similarities to viscose fibres, but is a fibre in its own right.
Modal fabric has a number of advantages compared to other materials for sensitive baby skin. Modal outperforms cotton and viscose in many aspects. It is more more durable, smoother, more absorbent, more heat-resistant, boil-proof, more elastic and less prone to wrinkling.
Softness : Modal fabric, often described as "silky smooth", pampers baby's skin and protects against irritation.
Breathable and regulates moisture : Modal allows air circulation, prevents overheating, keeps you dry and comfortable.
Longevity : Despite its delicate feel, modal fabric is surprisingly durable and resilient.
With the introduction of Modal to our baby sleeping bags and sleeping bags with feet range, Slumbersac are setting new standards in the industry. We combine comfort, safety and sustainability to offer parents and their children the best.
The 100% organic cotton we use is certified according to OCS - Organic Content Standard.
When growing organic cotton, the use of synthetic pesticides, artificial fertilizers and other agricultural poisons is avoided in every phase.
Organic cotton is considered very skin-friendly and it is also allergy-friendly. It is both soft and breathable and absorbs moisture.
Our jersey cotton is a knitted fabric made from 100% natural cotton. It is particularly soft and cuddly and therefore feels great against the skin. It is also stretchy, absorbent and breathable due to the fine mesh structure.
The cotton material helps your baby's body regulate their body temperature due to its breathability, which contributes to a restful sleep.
From 1.0 Tog, our sleeping bags are padded with soft polyester fleece which guarantees breathability and can prevent allergies.
Polyester fleece has a particularly high thermal insulation capacity and dries very quickly.
Bamboo Cotton fabric is silky soft. With unique hypoallergenic and anti-bacterial properties, it makes it highly suitable for children with allergy prone or sensitive skin. Environmentally friendly Bamboo fabric is 60% more absorbent than cotton and naturally temperature regulating, so an optimum temperature is ensured.

Bamboo Muslin is silky, soft, lightweight and durable. It is also naturally breathable, keeping your baby cool and comfortable. It draws away moisture and regulates body temperature, reducing the risk of baby overheating during the night. Bamboo is also naturally antibacterial and less susceptible to clinging odours.
