Children's sleeping bags – Available in older sizes: 3-6 years and 6-10 years

Many children find it difficult to switch from a baby sleeping bag to a normal duvet. They love the feeling of security that a sleeping bag gives. Restless sleepers, in particular, often cover themselves up at night and kick the covers off. This means that they wake up from the cold and call for mum or dad, especially in the Winter months.

With a Slumbersac kids sleeping bag, your older children will always be covered up at night and you can sleep through the night properly too.

What you should consider when choosing the right children's sleeping bag

Our children's sleeping bags are labelled according to the English TOG system, so you can easily see which sleeping bag is best suited for which season and for which room temperatures. Whether you are looking for a light and breathable Summer sleeping bag, a soft and warm Spring or Autumn sleeping bag or a cosy and warm Winter sleeping bag, we have a Tog sleep sack to suit all seasons and climates, even for older children.

Sleeping bags for children come in four different Tog weights:

• 0.5 Tog: two-layer fabric, completely unlined and suitable for hot Summer nights and room temperatures above 24 degrees.

• 1.0 Tog: lightly lined and suitable for Spring and Autumn nights and for room temperatures of 18-24 degrees.

• 2.5 Tog: padded, recommended for year-round use and room temperatures of 15-21 degrees.

• 3.5 Tog: warm padding, suitable for winter and room temperatures below 18 degrees.

Our long sleeve sleeping bags are also very suitable for camping holidays in tents.

The right size

Sleeping bags for children are available in two sizes:

130 cm: age 3-6 years, height: 101-116 cm

150cm: age 6-10 years old, height: 116-140cm

Thanks to the practical cut and a central zip, your child has enough freedom to move at night and can easily put the sleeping bag on and take it off themselves.
